NEW: Jaw box with JAKOB power-clamping screw

Power Jaw Box Type 9171 MSPD provides the maximum gripping force with minimal operator’s effort. This clamping unit is designed for mounting the workpiece on the faceplate and is applicable in machining operations, such as turning, boring, drilling, thread cutting, taper turning or milling.

The BISON Power Jaw Box Type 9171 MSPD is equipped with the JAKOB mechanical power clamping screw MSPD 160. High gripping force (40 000 daN) and its total weight (705 kg) provide the lathe geometrical stability and vibration damping efficiency. The jaws are equipped with slot nuts (dim. 42 x 24 x 110 mm), spaced 350 mm relative to each other.
